With concerns at an all-time high regarding the safety of inclined baby sleepers, the Chicco Napper has joined the list of inclined sleeper products in which an infant has died.
In April 2019, Fisher-Price recalled its Rock ‘n Play Sleeper after it was linked to 32 infant fatalities. Two weeks later, Kids II recalled its Rocking Sleepers after they were linked to five infant fatalities. Following the string of infant deaths, Dorel Juvenile Group USA recalled about 24,000 inclined sleepers.
Yet, Chicco U.S.A. has not recalled the Chicco Napper and continues to put babies at risk by placing them in sleeping positions not recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
The product liability attorneys at Feldman Shepherd are leading the fight against Chicco U.S.A. on behalf of innocent victims of the Chicco Napper.
